Jumbo / bolter / shovel / pit drill ... lights
Richard Morin • January 13, 2018
The people operating this equipment need more light.
OEM equipment builders supply lights that are ok, but do not go beyond that due to cost. Remember, they are in business to make as money as they can. We supply lights that go WAY beyond what the OEM incorporates on their equipment, why?
- Because you
the customer have people operating jumbos (and bolters) in dusty / dark / drifts where the driller strains to see the face and 5000K lighting of higher lumens simply make his job easier and safer with less fatigue.
- Pit drills and shovels that operate through the long nights where more light produces less fatigue, eye strain, is much safer and encourages more production.
- Under ground vehicles, or in pits where oncoming vehicle lighting causes a blinding effect to pedestrians and other vehicles due to poorly selected lights that do NOT have an elliptical beam. (Our elliptical lights have a light beam that is 30 degrees high, 65 degrees wide, lighting up the roadway without blinding on comers.)
The bottom line? Well ... you get what you pay for, and price is a poor indicator of what you will receive and importantly what will do the best job for you.
We have the experience and the lights, call us as seeing better is what we help your people with.
